State of Gratitude
During our get away to Bandon Beach, the fuel pump went out in our truck. Now back when Chris was working for the Man, this would have been a big problem. The truck died on a Sunday. Need I say more? After we called a garage and got the truck in on Monday, they told us that they would not have the part until Tuesday morning and would not have it done until Tuesday afternoon. So needless to say that would have been two days off unpaid, and a very unhappy employer. We would have been totally stressed out! Instead we just took a few more days at the coast. Went and enjoyed a secluded beach. Everyone else was at work!
NOBODY was there, it was awesome! As you can see from the video.
As I stood in the waves, taking in the fact that looking to the north or south I could see no one, I was left wondering "Why wouldn't everyone do this business?"
Thank You Lord for my wonderful life!!

Enjoying The Oregon Coast
At a time when everyone else is at home back to school and back to work, we are at the beach. The campground looks like a ghost town! It's a blessing to have this much freedom of time! Then when you throw in home schooling you really have the freedom to go where you want when you want. Oregon is a far cry from Kona Hawaii where we were last month. Much colder. But still beautiful. Give me a ocean and I'm happy!!
